Other than the fact that the next iPhone will do away with the 3.5 mm headphone jack pin, it seems the days of 16GB iPhones are nearly over. According to The Wall Street Journal the next flagship iPhone — the iPhone 7 or iPhone 7s whatever it’s eventually called — will start out at 32GB of storage. So this means there won’t be any 16GB option offered. This increased storage to the entry-level model will marks a new begging in for the phone maker and users will have more storage space for the base price.
Most apps now days are huge, so 16GB simply hasn’t been enough for most consumers to hold all of their apps, games, media and 4K video recordings — even if you are a die hard iCloud user other cloud services. Those annoying Warnings about low storage start popping up, and it all takes away from the iPhone user experience that Apple prides itself on.
Well to find out whether these rumors will hold, let wait for the release of the iPhone 7 later this September.
