Blast from the past: Samsung outs a Flip Phone with a Snapdragon 800 heart

Samsung always has weird combination of phones and for those of use who fancied flip-phone way back in the days, seems will feed our eyes with China Telecom’s latest Samsung’s luxury clam-shell. The two companies have just launched a new model, the SCH-W2014, at their annual “Heart Of The World” charity concert in China, Nanjing last night. The W2014 is the most powerful dual-screen flip phone in Samsung’s line-up, it will come with Android 4.3, a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 SoC (Syetem on Chip), 2GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel front-facing imager and dual-SIM connectivity (CDMA2000 800/1900 and GSM 900/1800/1900). We dont see ant 3G bands for our region but hey the phone is not meant to be for AMEA. You’ll also find 32GB of internal storage plus microSD expansion.

The W2014 also comes with a screen with 800 x 480 resolution on its 3.7-inch Super AMOLED displays, as well as its similar 1,900mAh battery capacity (but removable). If you think you love this phone you night have to part with US$1,640. Good luck.
