Budget iPhone for every tom, dick and hurry still rumored

Just when we thought iPhones are only high end phones, seems things change in this tough economic times. So courtesy of case manufacturer Tactus, we’re apparently looking at the upcoming budget iPhone’s polycarbonate shell, which was spotted at a factory that provides parts to Foxconn. For me this looks more like the old iPhones, but since the rumor of a cheaper iPhone keeps coming back over and over again we have reason to believe its the real thing.

Compared to the old polycarbonate iPhone 3G and 3GS, this cryptic shell appears to have a flat back instead of the old curved one, this means that it should reduce manufacturing complications and therefore the cost as well. Tactus adds that this body is slightly taller, wider and thicker than the iPhone 4 and 4S, but what we do struggle to believe is that apparently the same factory is producing this shell in black and white as well as blue, red and yellow. Another notable difference is that the old volume rocker is split into two, and then there’s also the LED flash that was absent on the old polycarbonate iPhones. Now we can have Apple penetrate the African market if such a device turns out to be real. So whether this is a decoy or the real thing , only time will tell.
