    itel P32 Vs itel P33: Should you upgrade or stay put?

    itel recently launched its latest of the powerful P series, the itel P33 – a device which comes as the successor to last year’s P32. The two phones literally possess the same specifications, with similar body design and close to similar functionality.

    On the P33, you find attached a dual rear camera setup, a fingerprint sensor mounted on the back, and an impressive long lasting battery which is the key attribute of the device. While the latest version is close to the same as the predecessor, there are some minor changes that can not be under-looked.

    Similarities between itel P32 and itel P33

    Both the itel P33 and the P32 are built with a plastic body with the same dimensions and weight (of 133 grams), which houses the dual camera array with a LED flash and a fingerprint sensor on the rear. The screen display size of 5.5 inches, resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels and 272 PPI density, aspect ratio of 18:9, and screen to body ratio are all the same on the two handsets.

    The P32 and P33 have two cameras each on the back side, and both have the same front facing camera of 5 MP, which supports features like Face Unlock, Face Beauty, HDR and LED flash.

    When it comes to hardware, both the itel P33 and the itel P32 employ the same MediaTek MT6580 chipset with Quad-core 1.3 GHz processor and Mali-400MP2 for graphics. Both run on Android 8.1 Oreo’s Go Edition and they each have 1 GB of RAM assigned to them.

    Differences between itel P32 and itel P33

    The rear cameras on the itel P33 are placed in a vertical order, while those on the itel P32 lie in a horizontal form. The P33 dual rear cameras consist of a combination of 8 + 0.8 megapixels while the P32 has a combination of 5 + 5 megapixels cameras both sporting Geo-tagging, touch focus, PDAF, HDR, and dual LED flash. The P33 comes with 16 GB internal storage which is a double of the 8 GB on the itel P32.

    P32 Vs P33: Verdict

    From a balanced point of view, both phones do offer the same excellent performance in almost all aspects. If you already have the itel P32, there would be no need to upgrade to the P33 because you will get the same taste of the service.

    The visible improvement on the P33 is the doubled storage to 16 GB, and if your interest lies in this, you can then purchase it. The other edge that the itel P33 has over of the P32 smartphone is that it’s battery is powered by Artificial intelligence to keep it running.
