Vodafone Uganda has dropped a bombshell once again by slashing the price of the Lenovo K3 Note. While it did impress in our review scores, these announcements mark the second time the phablet has enjoyed a price cut, having originally sold at approximately UGX 700,000, down to UGX 520,000 and now UGX 350,000. A 50% drop from the initial retail price the phone went for after launch.
It is either that Vodafone is trying to clean up inventory in anticipation of something big coming soon or it just wants to get rid of the last remaining units. The K3 Note is a kill for the price and is now the cheapest mid-range smartphone on the Ugandan smartphone market, with no competition within vicinity especially if you double down on pricing for the spec sheet. The only downside would be the aging OS of yesteryear but as of this writing, Lenovo is seeding OTA updates for this phablet to Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Vodafone entices the offer with 1GB of data, free WhatsApp and 60 minutes on net calls. All valid for 30days. The phone can be found in all Vodafone stores across the country.
