Last evening at Serena Hotel, CNN International and MTN took the wraps off their dedicated ‘Africa View’ news app. The app was part of a multi-platform commercial partnership between MTN and the International Cable News Network that included several digital components, advertising, and sponsorship.
The app curates CNN’s extensive Africa content, including the network’s ‘Africa View’ weekly infographic content, providing background and context to trends, figures and initiatives shaping the African continent. ‘Africa View’ will include content from CNN’s African content programs like Inside Africa and CNN Marketplace Africa, as well as breaking news and analysis about the continent.
Features of the Africa View app include:

- Weekly updates of ‘Africa View’ segment content
- Premium content of CNN International’s Africa features shows ‘Inside Africa’ and ‘CNN Marketplace Africa’
