    This will soon be the World’s tallest building

    If you thought the 828 m tall Burj Khalifa in Dubai will last another ten years holding the world’s tallest building record, I guess you have to think again. Construction for the world’s tallest skyscraper is set to start next week in Saudi Arabia.

    The new skyscraper will be known as the Kingdom tower and will measure 1 km (3,280 feet) after completion , this will go down in the Guinness World Records as the tallest man-made construction,also the world’s tallest building The Saudi Gazette reported.

    The world’sTallest building will cost $1.23 billion

    The Kingdom Tower will have 200 floors which is 37 floors more than the current record holder. It will apparently require around 5.7 million square feet of concrete and 80,000 tonnes of steel to build. The total estimated cost will be roughly $1.23 billion which is weirdly $ 27million less than the Burj Khalifa.
