Infinix Mobility Uganda recently unveiled the latest of its Note Series devices, the Infinix Note 40 and its bigger siblings in the Note 40 Pro and Note 40 Pro+. The new device comes with features designed for immersive entertainment and everyday power users.
All three models boast a massive 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. However, the Pro and Pro+ models take it a notch further with a curved display for a more premium look and feel. This ensures a great viewing experience for watching videos, gaming, and everyday tasks.
If you are the kind that wants to take full charge of your device’s power, you won’t be caught scrambling for a charger with any of these phones. They all pack a hefty 5000mAh battery, promising a full day’s charge for most users.
While all models offer fast charging, the standard Note 40 settles for 45W. The Pro and Pro+ take a significant leap with incredibly fast 100W wired charging, significantly reducing charging times. The Pro+ adds 20W wireless charging for added convenience.
Each phone features a triple-camera system on the back, with the main sensor boasting a whopping 108 megapixels for high-resolution photos. Two additional 2-megapixel sensors (their exact functionalities may vary but likely handle depth and macro tasks) provide versatility for different shooting scenarios. You also get a 32-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.
Additionally, all models offer a secure and convenient in-display fingerprint sensor for unlocking your phone; feature dual speakers for an immersive audio experience — whether you’re enjoying movies, music, or games; and they run on the new Android 14 over an XOS 14, providing a familiar user experience.
The biggest distinction lies in the processor and RAM. The standard Note 40 opts for a MediaTek Helio G99 processor with 8GB of RAM, geared towards good gaming performance.
The Pro and Pro+ models step up to the MediaTek Dimensity 7020 processor, a 5G capable chip for faster connectivity. The Pro retains the 8GB RAM, while the Pro+ boasts a higher 12GB RAM option for multitasking power users.
