    So how successful was UTL’s customer appreciation month?

    Last week, Uganda Telecom ended its month long customer appreciation month, where lucky winners won several goodies ranging from, Msente, movie tickets, shopping vouchers and airtime among others. The idea behind the campaign was to reward customers who constantly visit and engage on UTL’s different social media pages including Facebook and Twitter (using the hashtag ‪#‎rewardmonth).

    So, how successful was UTL’s customer appreciation month? Apart from the goodies that customers walked away with, the oldest telco gained some clout on social media and registered a considerable number of likes and engagement, they also have shared their numbers with Techjaja. During this month, UTL gained 2,507 likes on Facebook and 157 followers see table below for details.
