MTN Uganda is doubling your MBs in new data promotion

Ever since MTN Uganda decided to discontinue their popular mid-week Gaaga Wednesday promotion, a lot of people has been puzzled with what new campaign the telecom company will bring to replace it with. We’ve has many questions and we were all still anticipating and patiently waiting for the response. However, for the meantime, the telecom giants have managed to reply to customers demand with a new data promotion that will see them double your internet bundles whenever you purchase using mobile money. This new campaign will run for a period of 90 days and it started yesterday on 10th June 2019.

How to activate the 100% bonus on the new data promotion

For you to be able to redeem and use the 100% bonus, first you should either purchase the weekly or monthly data package and have to choose the mobile money option to complete the transaction.

Unlike the previous midweek package which you could only purchase the bouquet from the MTN App, this new promotion accepts users to redeem their bonus from the USSD option. Dial *165*2# and option 3( internet bundles) to automatically get the 100% bonus when you complete the transaction. Alternatively, you can use the MyMTN mobile app to carry out the transaction but keep in mind the app currently doesn’t support Mobile money transaction to avoid being frustrated.

This is an attempt by MTN Uganda to win back a list of divided customers that had been hooked on the midweek offer. However, for a duration of only 90 days, as someone who frequently uses MTN internet, I would appreciate some more reliable offer that very much relates to what the competition is offering.
