The Infinix S4, the fourth generation of the brand’s Selfie smartphones is officially available in Uganda. The device comes with a lot of first’s to it: such as being the first Infinix product to come running the Android 9 Pie OS out-of-the-box.
It is also the first with Infinix’s Custom XOS Cheetah 5.0 on top of it; the first to feature a water-drop notch on the display and, like we told you, the first to have a triple rear-camera setup.
Infinix is packing a triple-threat array at the back including a 13 MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture, a secondary 8 MP sensor and a third 2 MP f/2.0 wide-angle lens. The front camera is a super 32 MP sensor designed to bring out the selfie prowess of the gadget.
The S4 comes in two variants, a 3GB/32GB option and a 6GB/64GB option – representing the RAM and the internal storage space respectively. It packs a non-removable 4000 mAh battery which should be able to last a full day after a 100% charge.
The Infinix S4 is the successor to the Infinix S3 and S3X from last year, and we can only wait to see how its performance adds up compared to the predecessors. We shall review it as soon as it hits our desk.
