Just weeks after the launch of the Photographic P30 series, Huawei is experimenting on something more unique to add to its range of smartphones. Like we had told you, the emergence of the pop-camera into the rapidly innovative industry is not leaving any manufacturer with rest. It is not a surprise then, that Huawei is building a device set to feature a camera with a pop-up feature.
We have already seen devices like the Samsung Galaxy A80, Vivo V15 Pro, Xiaomi Mi Mix 3, the Lenovo Z5 Pro, and the Oppo Find X all experimenting the use of pop-up cameras while enterprising high-tech mechanisms in them. The A80 is designed even more beautifully with a triple camera array that doubles as a selfie and rear camera in just a flip over.
Huawei does not want to be late to the game, and is thus launching a smartphone likely to be called the “Huawei P Smart Z”. The details are still sketchy, but rumors point at a 16MP camera on the device, on a 6.59-inch “Ultra FullView” display. It is also likely that the display could have an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 while running on Android Pie out of the box.
Leaked renders of the Huawei P Smart Z indicate the back panel divided into two segments, with a variety in texture.

Huawei P Smart Z rumored specifications
The Huawei P Smart Z should be a mid-range phone running on Android 9 Pie, with a Kirin 710 processor and having a 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage combination. There is a possibility of a 4000 mAh battery that could easily last more than a day for a midrange device.
A dual rear camera array on its back, comprising of a 16 megapixel main sensor and a 2 megapixel camera for depth sensing, plus the front pop-up camera comprising of a 16MP sensor could make up the photography specifications.
We are yet to know when the device will launch but a $235 price tag is already attached once it hits the market. Additionally, it is likely to be available in three colors of: Midnight Black, Emerald Green, and Sapphire Blue.
