Roke Telkom offers several packages ranging from the daily version all the way up to the monthly packages, your choice wraps it up. The point to note is that, choosing a preferred package caps your connection to that specific period of time.
Streamlined in three major brackets, the company offers Roke Internet packages under Roke at Home – for basic home and business use, Roke at Work – for large enterprise use, and Roke on-the-go for those that want access everywhere they go.
For any of these, you can pay by using either PayWay, MTN Mobile Money, Airtel Money, Selcom or New Pay.
You should note that any of the payments made are exclusive of an installation fee of UGX 500,000 that applies to the wireless connection for Roke at home and Roke at work packages.
How do you pay for Roke Internet?
Payment by cash or cheque
This can be done at Roke Telkom’s office in Bugolobi, or by direct deposit on the company’s bank account. However, this method is available only during business hours (Monday-Friday, 8.00am – 5.00pm) as all such payments need to be manually verified.
Payment through PayWay
To instantly top up your Roke Internet, you may top-up using the PayWay kiosks or agents around you. You should have your 5 digit subscriber/user ID- ready in order to use this option because you will be asked for it at the PayWay machine. You may find this user ID by logging onto the Roke self-care page.
MTN Mobile Money top up
- Dial *165# to go to MOBILE MONEY
- Select PAY BILL
- Select PAY GOODS & SERVICES
- Enter code: ROKE
- Enter your top up amount
- Enter your reference/ID Number
- Press YES or OK to confirm
- Enter your MTN Mobile Money PIN number
You will receive SMS confirmations of the transaction and your Roke account will be topped up instantly after which you can purchase the bundle using the self-care portal.
Airtel Money top up
- Dial *185# to go to Airtel Money
- Select PAY BILL
- Select Others
- Select business number: 849997
- Enter your top up amount
- Enter your reference ID/Number
- Press YES or OK to confirm
- Enter your airtel money PIN number
You will receive SMS confirmations of the transaction and your Roke account will be topped up instantly after which you can purchase the bundle using the self-care portal.
Payment using Selcom Pay-point Agent.
To instantly top up your account at any time of day or night, with any of the Selcom agents in Kampala, you should have your 5 digit subscriber/user ID- ready in order to use this option because you will be asked for it at the Selcom machine. You may find this user ID by logging onto the Roke self-care page.

Payment using NewPay
On NewPay, choose INTERNET, select ROKESPOT, choose Card; 1day, 1 week, 1 month, put in your phone number, make a payment and get a receipt & confirmation SMS with your internet access details.
If you actively use RokeSpots, you can employ vouchers which you can buy from any of Roke Telkom’s distributors. They are available in denominations of shs1000, shs5000 and shs18,000.
