Today Apple introduces a new iMac model priced at $1,099 which is the cheapest starting price for a device in this category for the company. This is of course cheaper than the $1,200 usual asking price for Apple’s computer. The 21.5-inch computer comes will come in two models with the base model with a 1.4GHz Intel Core i5 processor than usual, which is slower that the previous 2.7GHz Intel Core i5 processor, and that model is still available for $1,299.
It will come in the same design and specifications with at least 8GB of RAM that ships with the system. Apple is trying to go affordable and we hope this could help them compete favorably with Windows-based PC from Lenovo, Dell and, the rest.
