    Office of the iPad unveiled by Microsoft

    ipad-mini expected to have retina dispalyIt’s official,Office for iPad is finally here. The new iOS app as been announced by Microsoft Office general manager Julia White. This has been an app in the making for long since two year back and it will be available in Apple’s App Store today. Just like Office for iPhone, the tablet version will make use of Microsoft’s Office 365 subscription for editing features.

    iPad users will be able to use the major Microsoft office apps including Word, Excel, and PowerPointall that come in a ribbon interface that’s similar to the Windows and Mac desktop versions.

    The iPad version contains a lot more features unlike Office for iPhone that does only some basic editing. The software giant is  promising full compatibility with the desktop versions, and Office for iPad includes support for re-flowing, formatting, and touch handles.
