Jobs site Fuzu celebrates half a million users after a few months in Uganda

Everyone celebrates their milestones but no one does it quite like Fuzu. Fuzu is an online career development and talent management platform that supports job seekers in emerging markets to unlock their hidden potential. It does this by giving job seekers access to career support and guidance as well as jobs that best match their skills and experience.

To celebrate their milestone of reaching 500,000 registered users, Fuzu has partnered with their clients such as Safeboda and Jumia to reward their users with special gifts. Over the course of this week, dubbed “Fuzu Party Week” every registered Fuzu user will receive an email and a message in their Fuzu inbox with a surprise gift such as free Safeboda rides and Jumia discount vouchers. Registered users will also receive free Fuzu points which they can use to access special courses on the Fuzu platform. Whether you are student in university, a young professional or a seasoned expert, registering on the platform is completely free and anyone can join to receive these gifts, make use of the career building resources and get access to the thousands of jobs on the platform.

“750 million people are projected to enter the job market in Africa between 2010 and 2035 however a vast majority of these people have not had formal career guidance to help them improve their employability and achieve their career goals. This is one of the key issues affecting employment across the continent. Fuzu is now supporting 500,000 people across East Africa to dream, grow and be found in their career journeys which is why we are incredibly proud of this achievement and sharing it wide and far.” stated Uganda Country Manager Alvin Katto.

Fuzu also supports employers with the tools to efficiently attract, recruit and develop talent in their sectors. Its platform utilises advanced AI technology that matches jobs to candidates with the required skills and greatly reduces the time for end to end recruitment so that employers can focus more on what matters most for their staff such as staff development.
