As news of the much awaited locally designed Pixan M8 and Pixan M6 smartphones still sinks into the minds of Ugandans, Pixan corporation has reached out Techjaja and told us that they have recently approved some of the accessories that will grace the new smartphones. First in line will be the leather cases, that will protect the Pixan Phones from our Ugandan durst and also offer all other forms of protection.
The company informed this blog that they we are working with a another company called Aldeepo Inc. in China on this accessory. “We plan to give them free to people who bought to those who buy our phones, they only pay the when they want to change a new casings” the 23 year old Edgar Ofoyuru Founder and Director of Pixan Corporation said.
The cases are designed to be water resistant, chemical resistant and made of shock absorbing material to protect the phones in case of any accidents. The cases will come in navy blue, brown and black colors.
“Aldeepo is a China base partner we are working with to start manufacturing soft goods like accessories in Uganda by 2nd Quarter 2018, the accessories include; Casings, earphones, headphones and many more” Edgar added.
Using locally sourced leather
Pixan corporation was quick to point out that the materials are going to sourced from local hides dealers or cattle farmers as a way of sticking to Buy Uganda Build Uganda (BUBU) spirit. This way they believe they will promote diversity in Uganda’s agricultural sector above all they believe it will encourage value addition and commercial farming.
