Smile communications customers can now conveniently register/update their SIM card registration details using WhatsApp, email or SMS using the steps below;

To Update National ID Number details:

  1. Use your SmileVoice number or alternative contact you registered with Smile.
  2. Send an SMS with your National ID Number (NIN) details to 0720197197.

To Check Registration Status:

  1. Use your SmileVoice number or alternative contact you registered with Smile.
  2. Send an SMS with the word “Registration” to 0720197197.

Whatsapp or Email:

You can send us a clear copy of your National ID or Foreign Passport and Smile account to our WhatsApp number 0720076453 or e-mail customercare@smile.co.ug

As per the UCC directive, please update your SIM details before Thursday 20th April 2017 to avoid disconnection from the network.
