    Apple to dive in the virtual reality space

    Samsung together with Oculus recently released the Gear VR, a virtual reality head mounted gear; Apple is searching for a virtual reality app engineer according to documents spotted by Mashable. This job listing that foreshadows new ventures for Apple.

    For eight year now, Apple has been applying for patents related to head-mounted display the most recently a multi-purpose goggle system. On top of meeting the usual list of criteria, would-be applicants are required to be experienced in virtual reality and augmented reality development.  The person who will get this job will work on “high performance apps that integrate with virtual reality systems for prototyping and user testing.” This means that Apple may finally become an active participant in the sprouting VR industry.
