    How to save images from the Internet to your Android phone

    Are you new to Android devices and unaware of how to save an image from a web browser? Well, the step by step detailed guidelines below will help you to instantly save any picture from the web browser to your Android device gallery.

    • First, open the web browser and search for the image that you want to download.
    • Once you have identified the picture that you want to save. Open that image in a new tab.
    • Next, tap and continue to press the picture until a short menu emerges.
    • From the menu, click on the option of “Save image or Download Image”. Doing so will cause the downloading process to start instantly. If you’re downloading a large picture, it may take a few more seconds for it to download.
    How to save images from the Internet to your Android phone

    You will get a notification, once the picture is downloaded. Pull down your notification shade to find the download notification. Simply tap on the notification to open the image.

    You can also go to the “Gallery” application and head over to the “Downloaded” album to find the picture that you just saved.

    If due to some technical issues the method above does not work for you. Then you can do so:

    • Open the picture on the web browser that you want to save on your Android device.
    • Separately open the image on a new tab.
    • Take a screenshot of that image. (Usually, the screenshot is taken by pressing the volume down and power button simultaneously. But it can vary from model to model).
    • After that, go to the gallery app and open the “Screenshot” album. And here you will find the picture.
    • If you want to remove the border of the web browser and want a picture only, then simply crop the image and remove all the unwanted content.
