MTN Uganda, under its youth-focused platform, MTN Pulse, held a larger than life party dubbed the “Pulse Disruption party” last week. MTN Pulse is a rocking lifestyle platform created for the young at heart and mind.
And last Thursday evening saw thousands of the youthful MTN subscribers from all over the country stream the one hour party that was broadcast live on the MTN Uganda Facebook page. The video that is still on the MTN Uganda Facebook page had garnered a staggering 66,000 views by press time.
Hosted by popular MC, Miss Deedan with DJ Kasbaby on the wheels, and studded with some of the trending names in the music industry, the Pulse disruption party saw the MTN Pulsers get remotely serenaded by latest Swangz music sensation, Azawi of the Repeat it fame, the B2C soldiers and the H2C dancers who rocked the stage with no fear.

Celebrated artiste, Mun-G of the Bintwala fame was also part of the line-up that delivered an electrifying show to MTN’s young at heart and mind customers.
Apart from entertaining the Pulsers, most of whom have been locked up at home since the wake of the Covid 19 Pandemic, the party was used as a platform to reward the winners of the MTN Pulse TikTok challenge. The two months long challenge that required Pulsers to submit short videos of Pulsers dancing to Mun-G’s popular hit Bintwala saw many Pulsers show case their talent fearlessly.

Hadija Nababi, going by the handle @bougiejunior emerged the overall winner, scooping the UGX 1,000,000 cash prize while Regan Sekkide going by the handle @Scott0013 was a runner up. He walked away with UGX 500,000 courtesy of MTN Pulse.
Many other Pulsers walked away with lots of goodies from MTN Pulse and its partners. Twambale and KHCD gave out stylish fancy apparel to some lucky Pulsers while Cake nation gave out cake vouchers among other partners.
Hellen Kirungi, the MTN Youth Segment Manager thanked the Pulsers for partaking in the challenge and streaming the party. She encouraged them to download the MTN Pulse app and enjoy the exciting offers from MTN with no fear.
