    A 10 percent discount for all Samsung Galaxy S4 Pre-Orders for Safaricom Subscribers in Kenya

    All high-end Samsung smartphone users in Kenya must be putting as smile on their faces as  Safaricom has launched pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S4. Clients can pre-order the phone at Kes. 58,000 ($690) with a deposit of Kes. 15,000 ($178) payable instantaneously and the rest at the store on picking up the device. For the first three months, the phones will be with preloaded with 4.5 GB worth of data and user will be able to use 1.5GB per month.Purchases made after the pre-order period will pay Kes. 7,000 ($83) more to get the device at a cost Kes. 65,000 $734) in Mobile Operator’s shops.

    The Samsung Galaxy S4 is Samsung’s flagship handset, HTC is also backing on its beautiful looking HTC One to compete with Samsung. Samsung Galaxy S series are among the best of Android handsets and also the most popular and available compared to devices from competitors. This is partly due to Samsung’s marketing push, with a marketing budget now bigger than Coca Cola, Samsung’s availability in many countries and nifty features packed into the devices.

    For the Q1 earnings 2013, thanks to strong smartphone and tablet sales, Samsung achieved an operating profit of 8.78 trillion won ($7.9 billion) – more than 50% higher than the same period of last year. The net profit was 7.15 trillion won ($6.45 billion) on 52.87 trillion won ($47.6 billion) of revenues.
