This comes shortly after we did our top 25 YouTube channels in Uganda, this loquacious Anne Kasiime now ranks at number three behind Eddy Kenzo and Masaka Kids Afrikana in terms of estimated monetary income from Google and subscribers.

YouTube recognizes those channels that have honestly earned the achievement. To prevent any channel from gaming the system with falsely inflated subscribers count, they use a variety of signals to determine which channels qualify for rewards, including but not limited to subscribers, views, and watch time.

Creator Awards are given at YouTube’s sole discretion and we only recognize creators that have played by the rules. Channels are subject to review before awards are issued. That means rewarding creators that keep their accounts in good standing without copyright strikes, community guideline violations, or artificially increased subscriber counts, among other criteria.

If a channel’s eligibility is approved, they’ll get a notification on their Creator Studio within one week of passing a Creator Awards milestone. The notification will include a unique redemption code that you’ll need to enter on our redemption portal. Once there, all they need to do is fill out their channel name and shipping information.

Finally, once they have submitted all of their information, YouTube begins handcrafting the Creator Award. Depending on where the channel owner lives, it takes us 2-3 weeks to build and ship their award. We would like to congratulate Anne Kansiime on her new accolade.
