The program dubbed as “Touchbase” is designed to support startups and emerging companies with legal advice and help build corporate and contract law structure at the beginning of their startups or business. The program runs for five weeks and takes place at the company’s premises in Kisingiri Road (Bulange Mengo) every Friday and equips startup founders with the relevant law trades they need for their companies.

The Next.Legal Summit
Bytelex Advocates have organized an event dubbed Next.Legal — on how to finance tech startups and successfully exit in East Africa. The invite-only session will be held on 5th July 2019, in Kampala, marks the 5-year celebration of the law firm and the firm intends to use the event to give their clients and other stakeholders a sneak-peek into exciting new legal-tech products to be launched.
The summit shall focus majorly on technology, startups, and emerging companies but will also extend to cover other aspects of firm practice areas like finance, infrastructure, energy, alternative dispute resolution, and litigation.
With support from the Berkeley Legal Society, the panel discussion will be graced by Angela Kerubo, a Project Leader at Open Capital Advisors, Ivan Mworozi MD at Print Boda Limited, Chrispinus Onyancha Founder ClinicPesa and Joshua Businge Muleesi a director and co-founder at Matibabu Limited.
