Infinix launched the Hot 7 to take over the heights of the Hot series throne, from last year’s Hot 6X – a device which debuted the notch on the midrange selection.
Given that it is Infinix’s first release for 2019 in Uganda, and that the last available Hot smartphone was out last May, you could have the latest device for yourself or your loved one as soon as now.

A 6.2″ Screen for all your play
Infinix is working hard to push flagship specifications to mid-range and entry level smartphones, for the emerging markets to enjoy. One key feature that is readily available on most of the new gadgets on the market is having a big screen on them.
With a big screen, you can enjoy videos, play video games, do video calls and conferences, and a lot more. For the Hot 7, a 19:9 aspect ratio makes this even more entertaining – and a dose worth having.
The Notch to love
Since the iPhone X, we’ve seen all sorts of notches crop up on various Android-centric brands. Infinix is not about to be left behind, the notch was made popular on the brand’s S3X device, which came in line after the Hot S3, and eventually the Hot 6X – also coming after the Hot 6.
The Infinix Hot 7 makes the notch a lot more beautiful with well mapped out curves and a cool chin at the bottom. At least, if you want the feel of the notch, you can start off the experience with a Hot 7.
Compact design to fit your wants
Like most of Infinix’s recent products, the Hot 7 is made with a slim design that matches quite everyone’s smartphone demands.
It is compact enough to hold firm in your palm, without worry of falling or being snatched off. Plus, it perfectly fits in your pockets if you’d want to carry it there when on the move.
Even with a plastic back cover, you can feel the supremeness it weighs when holding it as you do your business. Have I mentioned the ease with which the fingerprint sensor helps you to unlock the phone and launch apps?
Scintillating camera
A dual 13 MP + 8 MP camera setup at the back to give you the best photography, and an 8 MP front camera for selfies and mirror checkup, is just good enough for a phone that does it all.
The camera has various modes that allow you to take clear and brighter images, as well as an AI filter that can sense where the focus should be and places it there.
Both cameras have flash light, and do good works even in the dark.
4000mAh battery
The Hot 7’s battery won’t die out until the next day, as long as you had a full charge. Infinix is now standard on giving its devices, regardless of the class they fall in, at least 3500mAh power – and the 4000 on the 7 is so impressive.
XOS Honeybee
The fourth version of Infinix’s XOS, Honeybee, is an amazing upgrade that the brand added to its device collection. From a swift performance, a cool interface to work with, to the quick adaption to a notch-ed screen; the Honeybee has all the nector in it.
If you are using the old XOS skins, on any of the previous models, you should either upgrade to the Hot 7 or find yourself the XOS.
