The first Impressions
The Infinix Hot 7 is light and compact, making it a perfect fit into your pocket and your palm while on the move. A 6.2 inch display, that has a notch as the highlight, gives you all the room to swipe about and play with your fingers.
If you love watching videos, playing games, or video chatting using your mobile – the Hot 7 should be your choice. There is an 8 MP front facing camera that is supported by a flash light to give you a keen AI facial recognition, video recording and conferencing, as well as a rich selfie experience.
The plastic back does not forget the fingerprint scanner, that secures your device from nosy neighbors as well as making it easy to access your favorite apps and functions.
To this, a dual 13 MP camera setup is added for awesome capturing of moments.
What we like
The first smile that comes to any Infinix Hot 7 customer is the free gift hamper that is attached to the box. This is a wonderful gesture from Infinix, and it is an enticer for one to buy the device.
For the first 24 hours we had the Hot 7, we were impressed by the 4000mAh battery that – on full charge, and amidst heavy activity – was still at 40% a day later. We also liked the 3D DIRAC audio technology which Infinix has perfected in using to let you listen to calls without using earphone.
The Hot 7 comes with the new XOS Honeybee v4.1.0 that makes any phone almost as intelligent as the holder, something that is interesting.
What we don’t like
The Hot 7 does not support 4G network, a real disappointment. Yet, even with the 3G network that it offers, you will get a number of alternatives and even 4G smartphones that cost much less than it.
