Samsung officially launched the new and highly anticipated Galaxy M20 and Galaxy M10 phones, part of new Samsung M series of smartphones, at the start of this week in India. The devices have for long been marketed as one for India-first, with a target pinned to the millennials.
The launch comes at a time when Xiaomi is struggling to attend to all smartphone demands in the country, and Samsung wants to capitalize on this, before the series spread out to other markets.
The Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20 both come with Android 8.1 Oreo
based on Samsung Experience 9.5 UX, both have Infinity-V Displays with an 19:9 aspect ratio, and both carry dual rear camera setups on them.
Samsung Galaxy M10 specifications
The Galaxy M10 is the younger of the siblings, sporting a 6.22 inch display, with an HD+ resolution of 720p. The device runs on Samsung’s Exynos 7870 processor, powered by a 3400 mAh battery with a micro-USB port attached.
Besides having a dual rear camera of 13MP + 5MP and a 5MP front selfie sensor, the device comes in two variants of 2GB RAM with 16 GB internal memory, and 3 GB RAM with 32 GB internal memory.

The Galaxy M20 has a wider 6.3 inch display, coming with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080p. It runs on Samsung’s own Exynos 7904 octa core processor, powered by a 5000 mAh battery with a type-C USB port attached as well as a 15W fast charge capability.
The device also has a dual-camera setup at the rear – with a 13 MP + 5 MP combination – and an 8 MP sensor at the front. It also comes in two variants of 3 GB RAM + 32 GB internal memory, and 4 GB RAM + 64 GB internal memory.

Price and Availability
Both the Samsung Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20 models will go on sale through Amazon and Samsung online Store starting February 5. The devices have been made in two colour options of Charcoal Black and Ocean Blue.
The Samsung Galaxy M10 price in India starts at about $120 for the 2 GB RAM/16 GB storage variant, while the 3 GB RAM/32 GB storage model is priced at about $130.
The Galaxy M20 will be available at about $160 for the 3 GB RAM/ 32 GB storage configuration, while its 4 GB RAM/64 GB storage version will go on sale at about $190.
