Xiaomi Uganda has launched the Pocophone F1 dubbedmaster of speed today. The phone will be available on Jumia Uganda (Uganda’s leading online shopping site) and other phones outlets in the city centres.
The phone has raised several concerns worldwide as it comes at relatively at a cheaper price starting for as low as $300 yet featuring specs of high end smartphones that start from $1000.
Launched in August this year, Pocophone features a dual camera of 12 MP and 5 MP, a powerful 20MP front camera capable of video recording with 1080pixles at 30fps (frames per second), 6 GB RAM for 64 GB and 128 GB category and 8 GB RAM for 256 GB pieces.
In addition to this, a packed non- removable 4000mAh battery, fast charging and 6.18 inch notch display, with face recognition technology which are usually bound in high end smart phones at deer price.
Unfortunately, in terms of its build, it comes with a plastic back cover which is not typical in high ends smartphone. It however maintains a front glass model with a corning gorilla protection.
Other compatible features include FM Radio, 3.5mm headphone jack, Hybrid dual sim (Micro SD or 2nd SIM) with 4G LTE network,Bluetooth 5.0 among others.
Speaking to this site, Vikas Malik the Country Head-Mi Uganda confirmed that the Pocophone will be on market and only phones with 128 GB will be available on the market.
