Google’s Next Nexus tablet leaks in press shoots

It’s been almost a year since Google in a collaboration with Asus brought us a Nexus branded 7 inch tablet, and we think it’s high time we saw an update. According the trusted the trusted sources from the @evleaks Twitter account, we have been provided with press images to corroborate the claims. The pictures show the new rear-facing camera, notification light, and dual speakers, as well as the horizontal orientated “Nexus” wordmark and the logo of manufacturer Asus. @evleaks suggests that the tablet will be available in 16GB and 32GB models.

We expect this Nexus to be announced as soon as this week; Google is holding an event with Android and Chrome chief Sundar Pichai on Wednesday. We also suspect that the search giant will  launch new versions of Android alongside new hardware, so it’s  more than possible that the Nexus 7 update could mark our first official look at the Android 4.3 as well.
