Samsung is advertising BlackBerry Messenger in Africa

Samsung has kicked-off a promotion of BBM, as earlier this month the two companies struck a deal to promote the messenger in Africa.  This comes after, BlackBerry Messenger was supposed to hit the Android and iOS app stores this week. Samsung Mobile Ghana is also taking part of the campaign by posting teasers on Facebook. Samsung, of course, has its own messenger, ChatON, that has failed to gain any traction since its inception.

The BlackBerry Messenger will be available in both Samsung’s own app store and Google Play Store.
