Africell yesterday officially unveiled the #TripleData offer to the Ugandan data market. With #TripleData, the customer gets three times of the data that they buy everyday starting from 200MBs all the way to 1GB available on the bundle USSD *133*8#.
To give image and attach personality to Triple Data, Africell has signed top TV personality Sheilah Gashumba as Ambassador for a year-long contract.
According to Africell’s Commercial Director Milad Khairallah “Sheilah is a credible personality having been our customer from day one. She properly understands the brand and is able to disseminate the information to the rest of our customers”.
Sheilah also properly fits the excitement this entire campaign is. As a person, she’s an over achiever for her age. She started her screen career at only 13 and has kept it clean to the top.
The #TripleData offer starts at 200MBs which Africell triples to 600MBs, 300MBs which triples to 900MBs and 1GB which becomes 3GB at no extra cost. This according to Africell is in response to Ugandan’s demand for an all inclusive data offer as exciting as their signature social bundle – SWIFT – launched three months back.
