    Africell introduces “Golden SIM cards” a blessing in disguise for University students

    Even with the pending opening of Universities because of the continued strike, Africell may have the university students in their plans of giving away data combos. When university successfully opens, Africell is set to offer University students free special “golden SIM cards” that are ready for use on loading of start off data.

    The offer will be available for all students at the Makerere University, Kyambogo University (KYU), Kampala International University, Uganda Christian University and Makerere University Business School bazaars running even after. Also as part of the rewards, students stand a chance to win goodies at the Africell tents on purchase of recharge cards, 25 free MBS for every recharge of data above 25MBs, T-shirts, caps, phones, recharge vouchers and other attractive packages including the cheapest devices and phones.


    Milad Khairallah, Africell’s Commercial Director says the golden SIM card offer with the WTF (Whatsapp, Twitter, Facebook) social bundle is in line with their vision of giving their customers the best at the most affordable prices. “We value students and their need for data to be able to carry out research for their courses, keep in touch with their families and friends, plus also make phone calls at the lowest rates.
