    MTN CEO Mazen Mroue stresses patience and integrity as core requirements for success at the Pakasa forum

    Organized by Vision Group and hosted by CEO Robert Kabushenga, the Pakasa (means to work) forum has taken place today under the theme: Employment Creation. The key note speakers have included Uganda’s Hon Prime Minister Amama Mbabazi, MTN CEO Mazen, Phillip Odera, Managing Director (MD), Stanbic Bank; Richard Byarugaba, the MD, National Social Security Fund (NSSF);Jennifer Musisi, the Executive Director, Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA), Bruce Robertson, South African producer dealer (Cotton and Simsim) in Uganda and Marino, a young wrought iron fabricator.

     According to Kampala City Council Authority,  ED Jennifer Musisi.

    We give money to groups to do small businesses. There are over 50 groups were are giving this money. We have so far given out Shs 1.5 billion to the youth using the youth fund accessible in Centenary bank-Youth Funds Desk. This has benefited very
    many. We still have about Shs 1.5 billion in the Youth fund. 4000 people have benefited from chicken and animal projects in the city

    In his Q&A session, MTN Uganda CEO Mazen Mroue has emphasized that  patience and integrity as core requirements for success.
