    Microsoft unveils a revamped dual-SIM Nokia X2

    Microsoft has today announced the successor to the original X logically named the Nokia X2. The phone is  priced at just €99 (UGX 439,960) before taxes, which is considered to be affordable for a mid range Android dual SIM phone. especially for markets here in Africa. On top of the Dual SIM support, the 4.3-inch display has expandable internal storage, as well as apps and services from Microsoft.

    The device has a new capacitive home key, moving away from the one back button that we find on the Nokia X. Joining the back key featured in the Nokia X, this new key is a convenient shortcut to get straight back to the home screen. If you holding down the back button, the  multi-tasking pane will be activated for easy app management.

    There is a 5MP camera (with LED flash), 1 GB of RAM, 4 GB internal storage (with MicroSD expansion), Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor, and Bluetooth 4.0, all powered by an 1,800 mAh battery.

    The main home screen contains multiple app shortcuts and tiles, the second is an alphabetical list of apps installed on the device, while the third is a news feed of sorts called Fast Lane, pulling down social content and more from apps and services installed.

    The usual Microsoft apps and services pre-installed, includeOutlook, OneDrive, Skype and some Xbox games. The Nokia X2 will be available in several colors including glossy green, orange and black, with glossy yellow, white and matt dark grey coming later. The phone will be available in select countries.
