HiPipo.com and Cyber plc will this year in August bring you the first ever Digital innovators awards and Uganda will play host to this occasion. The awards are aimed at promoting and rewarding the best innovation and practices for mobile, web, social, digital finance and cyber security applications in Uganda and Africa. The project also hopes to conduct research on Internet connected digital innovations in the Africa.
According to the Daily Monitor, the Digital Impact Awards Africa ((DIAA) will also be a center stage for stakeholders to discuss opportunities and challenges of cyber security, e-services, digital financial services, social media, big data and Internet issues. The organizers have assured reporters that they have a panel of judges and experts from all over the world who will evaluate the brands basing on percentages.
