What does Google domains have to offer?

Now in Beta stage, Google to soon enable users, search, purchase and sell domains.
In a statement yesterday, Google hopes this service will help businesses –SMEs– create an online presence, however, Google will not provide hosting services but will partner with providers such as Shopify, Squarespace, Weebly and Wix.com
