It’s high time Google realized that it’s glasses need more fashion in them and at $1,500, the current version of Glass many not be appealing for some, but the search giant is slowly trying to change people’s minds. Now Google is hiring fashion executive Ivy Ross this week to help push the current Glass to the mass market. Ross is a design and marketing lead with a lot of experience at Calvin Klein, and Gap, to mention but a few. Her new role will require here to change people’s general perception about glass, and put some fashion sense into it so that people can accept it as a cool wearable device and not for just geeks and developers.

e as part of a beta program. This hire is a perfect fit with Google’s recent approach to glass. According the verge, in September the company placed a 12-page Google Glass fashion spread in September’s issue of Vogue. At $1500 this is still an expensive product for most people and we only hope Google I/O 2014 will show case a cheaper version.
