Sony announces Xperia T2 Ultra and Ultra dual with 6-inch displays

Sony has today unveiled two new large-display smartphones, both of them with rather with the same specifications and an aim for international release. The Sony Xperia T2 Ultra and the Sony Xperia T2 Ultra dual both work with 6-inch displays with 720p resolution and Sony’s great TRILUMINOUS display technology alongside the company’s own Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2 for mobile. They’ve got  13-megapixel cameras around the back and 1.1-megapixel cameras up front, and  1GB of RAM a Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core 1.4GHz processor inside with.

Inside you’ll also find 8GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot for 32GB more. There’s a 3000mah battery in both units with Battery STAMINA mode for additional battery power. You’ll find Sony’s “one-touch” ecosystem rolling with these machines with NFC, with Sony assuring users that 132 devices (at least) will work right out of the box.

Naturally the dual version works with two SIM card slots. Neither the T2 Ultra, which gains its ‘Ultra’ distinction by virtue of a 6-inch, 720p display, nor the diminutive 4-inch E1, with its 100Db speaker and focus on music, are going after the music centric lovers.
