Last evening at the Microsoft build event, Nokia couldn’t resist coming to the conference with nothing to show off even if the acquisition is still pending. The Finnish mobile phone maker announced the Lumia 930, which is essentially the international version of America’s existing Lumia Icon. On the spec sheet we are looking at the following- A 5-inch full HD display
- 20-megapixel PureView camera with a Zeiss lens
- Four high-performance digital microphones
- Directional stereo recording on-board
- Wwireless charging
- 2.2GHz Snapdragon 800 processor.
- Llatest Windows Phone 8.1 firmware,
- “SensorCore,” which apparently hooks into the Bing Health & Fitness app
The Star of the show is 20 MP Clear

The 20 MP camera has an optical image stabilization sensor, and comes bundled with a Creative Studio app that’ll let you add Instagram-style filters to your snapshots. The “Living Images” feature is weaved into Nokia’s Storyteller application. The phone automatically sorts photos and videos by time and location, with the ability to add music to the background when viewing the images.
Microsoft says the Lumia 930 will launch first in Europe starting in June, and will be available in Asia and other markets at a later date at around $599 (UGX 1.52m).
