Samsung to donate $3M to Ellen’s charities of choice

For The most retweeted selfie of the Oscars by  Ellen DeGeneres, in what we may call a token of appreciation  from Samsung, the phone manufacturer is donating  $1.5m to two charities of her choice (Ellen’s)  namely St. Jude’s and the Humane Society.

This is amidst debate as to whether Samsung paid  DeGeneres for using the phone.

Well she managed to showcase some player skills: tweeting using her iPhone backstage 🙂
