Nokia’s Lumia look a like 10.1-inch Windows RT tablet with code name Sirius

Rumors floating around the Finnish Lumia maker is that, Nokia is set to release a Windows RT by launching a 10.1-inch tablet soon. According to the rumor-mill, the tablet is codenamed Sirius, and is set to be launched soon. The picture we see above is a prototype leak that looks like a Nokia Lumia phone, only now it’s blown up to 10.1 inches.

Rumors further speculate that the tablet is thinner and lighter than the iPad. Just like the usual Nokia tastes, we expect them to come in  several colors.  A rear 6-megapixel camera and  a 2-megapixel shooter at the front is also in the pipeline. The 10.1-inch display that Nokia is planning to use will run at 1920 x 1080 resolution, and has been improved for outdoor readability thanks to a high amount of brightness output. There also a Qualcomm’s quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor alongside 2GB of RAM.

A solid 10 hours of battery life with LTE connectivity is another goal Nokia wants to achieve with the Sirius. Other features include a MicroSD port to extend the 32GB of storage, a Micro HDMI connector, and a Micro USB port. There’s rumors of a keyboard that doubles as a battery extender is also expected to ship with the tablet.

Nokia will unveil the tablet at a launch event in New York, which is currently scheduled for September 26th..
