The new 100% top up on the voice bundle minutes is applicable to the top two tier packages in the monthly package which goes for 35k and 50k and sees the new minutes doubles up to 2400 and 4500 units from 1200 and 2100 respectively. The cheaper packages of 5k and 10k see a small add up on the number of minutes to 125 and 300 minutes from 100 and 250 units as well. This is a move by MTN to get customers to use the voice bundle packages which has suffered ever since social media and other internet-based messaging platform blew up and people started using them frequently.
How to Double your minutes in the new MTN Voice bundle offer
To enjoy this promotion you will have to follow the normal steps of purchasing a voice bundle and Dial *160*22# and choose the package you would like for the monthly offer.
Alternatively, you can opt to use the MTN MyApp and achieve the same results but the only challenge is you will have to use your mobile money account to finish the transaction, Unlike the USSD option which gives you multiple payment options to choose from including purchasing using Airtime and the Mobile money option as well.
