Uganda’s most popular boda-boda hailing company is set to go into business territories soon. After weeks of planning and preparation, SafeBoda Food is set to be launched next week just in time for BlackFriday and the holiday season adding this new option to its app. After the death of HelloFood which was latter re-branded to Jumia food, many users of food delivery and ordering services apps have always had many complaints top of which is delivering cold food. We hope Safeboda Food will learn from this before launch.
The motorcycle hailing app, which has proven to offer a lot more than just a ride to your destination, will start rolling out Safeboda Food as it plans to be your next stop when it comes to ordering local food – in what they’ve dubbed #SBFood during the campaign period.
Safeboda Food, is going to be another brave and outstanding innovation by the company that has already captured the ride hailing market with a firm grip. The Safeboda app’s updates have seen the company roll-out new features which include: sharing SafeBoda cashless with a friend, sending a parcel or package using a SafeBoda, and buying airtime for yourself or a friend. Now, any SafeBoda can top up a passenger or customer’s Cashless account in exchange for an equal amount of money – as simple as that.

We are not yet clear the exact day when Safeboda Food delivery service will start operations but reports reaching our desk as you can see for the screenshot we have attained above– indicates that the project is ripe for launch next week.
