    YassaKo: How to get Yaka on credit

    YassaKo is a micro-credit emergency payment option for users to top-up or recharges their utility bills like Yaka to enjoy uninterrupted usage. The service enables and facilitates electricity-prepaid users to get micro-credit to top-up or recharge and get electricity units on credit. All you need is any feature phone phone and your mobile number

    The service leverages on the Mobile Network Operators’ (MNO) infrastructure to offer the service to their respective subscribers. The service is now available for only Airtel Uganda customers. To access the USSD based service; Dial *185# and Select Financial Services, Select Yassako Select, and request and follow the prompts.

    The company also supports businesses and allows they to register their employees to access YassaKo service as a benefit.

    They have partnered 3rd party companies like ChapChap, Xente, EasyPay, PayWay, Ezee Money, InterSwitch, and other 3rd Parties to offer YassaKo through the Point of Sale terminals, Self-service kiosks, and the respective distribution networks. This service will be launched soon.

    As part of their future plans, they Partnered with Banks like Centenary, Stanbic, DFCU, Pride, Opportunity, Equity, Barclays, Orient, UBA, Bank of Africa, Tropical, Cairo and others to offer YassaKo to their respective Account holders in the near future.
