Xbox One launching in November for $499 in 21 countries: Sorry no African country on the list yet

Microsoft is announcing that Xbox One will be released in November for $499. The One will be available in 21 markets around the world, including the UK where it will be priced at £429 but unfortunately none for Africa for obvious reasons. In Europe the Xbox One will be priced at 499 euros, but Microsoft isn’t revealing exactly where the console will be made available just yet.

For $499 you’ll get the new console, a wireless controller, the new Kinect, and a 14-day trial of Xbox Live Gold. Microsoft is also planning a limited-edition commemorative bundle at the same price, complete with unique packaging, a limited edition controller, and a commemorative achievement for Xbox Live. Xbox One Day One Edition is available to pre-order on Amazon.
