Why iPhones are being logged out of Facebook

    Not a hack, issue fixed

For over 48 hours now, some iPhone users have found themselves logged out of their Facebook accounts. The event happened without any warning on Friday late evening due to a “configuration change,” and the issue has been fixed as of Saturday morning although as early as today morning some users in Uganda are still facing the same issue.

The issue was originally discovered by pundits on the r/Facebook Reddit board who were complaining about sudden prompts asking them to log back into the app, but they had not signed out.
