Whats App officially lands on the desktop

This has always been expected, the world’s most popular messaging client with over 600 million active users WhatsApp, is now ready to feature on your desktop, thanks to a web client that launched today for both Chrome and Android. The new home for Whats App on the web can be accessed via web.whatsapp.com. It should however be noted that the core functions of the service will remain on your phone, but the company is doing this for the 24/7 computer freaks plus also as a way to bridge the gap between home and work.

However, here is the tricky part, in order for the web client to work, your phone has to stay connected to, and all user messages will still remain on the phone, but WhatsApp is hoping the client will give users more flexibility.
