    MTN Uganda has today launched the first Free gaming service. Dubbed “MTN GoGames”, the service offers MTN customers access to a huge catalog of mobile games! Customers can access and play games without paying a fee or buying data. In order to get a piece of cake MTN has also created an advanced player’s portal, that has a selection of premium games. Here is all you need to know about MTN GoGames.

    What is MTN GoGames?

    MTN GoGames is a web-based portal that allows MTN customers to enjoy over 100 world-class games in multiple categories ranging from casual, sports, puzzles, action, adventure and so much more.

    Who can play games on the MTN GoGames portal?

    All MTN prepaid and postpaid customers with internet enabled devices e.g., smartphone or tablet with a web browser will be able to register and play games for FREE.

    How to access and play games for free on the MTN GoGames portal?

    To access the portal,

    • Visit the portal using your preferred browser e.g., Google Chrome, Firefox, Opera etc. on your smartphone or tablet.
    •  Register by entering your preferred username and your phone number then click register to start playing games FREE everywhere you go.
    • If you already registered, click “Log In” to start playing.

    What subscriptions are available to play games?

    MTN GoGames have both free and paid for premium games.

    All customers can access and play over 100 free games with no subscription while the premium games can be accessed at a fee that is paid using MTN Mobile Money as seen below.

    How do I pay for premium games?

    • Visit http://mtn.gogames.run/ and register or login.
    • Click on Profile, select “active subscription” and then “subscribe”.
    • Choose your preferred subscription and click on “subscribe”.
    • You will receive a request to enter your MTN Mobile Money PIN.
    • Enter your PIN. You will receive a confirmation of your subscription.
    • Now you can play all the premium games.

    What makes MTN GoGames unique?

    • Customers do not need to download a separate app to play games. They can access all games via their web browsers on their smartphones or tablets.
    • All MTN customers can access over 100 games in different categories for free, with no subscription or MBs needed to play.
    • All MTN customers get 100MBs every day to play games for free at no data cost to them. The 100MBs can only be used to play games and will reset every day at midnight. When a customer exhausts the 100MBs they will continue to access MTN GoGames with their existing data bundle.
    • Customers who play premium games pay one subscription fee to access all games.
    • There are many local and Ugandan games including Ludo, Hide & Seek, Mweso, Matatu, Dulu among others.
    • Over 25 new games will be added monthly.

    Does the GoGames service have auto renewal?

    Subscriptions will not be subject to auto-renewal the customer will have to subscribe again whenever they want to access premium games.

    Can one purchase a GoGames subscription for another?

    No. Currently, one cannot buy a GoGames subscription for another.
