    Mobile gaming is becoming one of the fastest-growing sectors of the eye gaming world. PCs and consoles will always have a place. However, more people are switching to mobile gaming because the quality and ease of access have greatly improved. The reason behind that is, of course, advancing technology, and here we have some of the tech trends that have enabled the mobile gaming experience to be significantly improved.

     Safe and Fast Access to Money

    Monetised gaming makes up a significant proportion of mobile games, such as  Pay and Play casinos and in-app purchases. If a player wins, it is natural that they want to be able to withdraw their money quickly and stock up their account with deposits so that play is never delayed. All this can now be done instantly using many different methods, from PayPal to debit and credit cards, depending on personal choice. The security has also been improved, enabling players to feel confident that the money is in safe hands.

    5G Arrived

    5G has been on a rollout since 2018, and if you upgrade any smartphone these days, you will find your options are limited to 5G enabled Sim deals. This upgrade has been vital to the improvements in mobile gaming. It means that smartphone manufacturers can deploy better graphics cards, and they will perform well with maximum frame rates, no like to the game in play, and no delays to inputting information again, leading to much better performance and experience for the player.

    AR Combines Gaming with the Real World

    Augmented reality has been around for quite a while now, and the example everyone always quotes is, of course, Pokémon GO. Technology has come a long way, even since this was first a thing in 2010. Now augmented reality is finding its way into many mobile games because, of course, a mobile handset is a perfect tool for combining the action from the screen into the real world. Mobile gaming on the go is already popular, so as the games get bigger and better, this can only explode further.

    VR Has Possibilities

    Virtual reality is also possible with mobile gaming; however, it does require users to have a virtual reality headset and compatible games. It’s fully immersive gaming, which is not safe to be doing while moving around on public transport, for example, but there are a limited number of virtual reality games on offer for mobile phones, and as technology advances further, it could be utilized more.

    If you think back to the iconic Nokia 3310, you can see just how far graphics on mobile phones have already come. You no longer have a device for making calls and sending texts; basically, anyone who owns a smartphone is carrying a computer in their pocket. To make mobile gaming even better, manufacturers have been working hard to improve chipsets and graphics cards for smaller screens, and now we can have impressive gaming of a computer standard in our pockets.
