Uganda played host to TEDx at the National Theater last month. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Raymond Besiga an entrepreneur and technologist gave an uplifting speech about an African perspective of technology and the sharing economy. He works to create contextually applicable technology solutions that address social and economic challenges. He is a co-founder of Sparkplug, a software development and technology consulting firm. This is totally worth every minute.
